Our relationship property team has expertise in all aspects of relationship property law. Whether it is advice on separation to preparing a pre-nuptial agreement we offer practical advice and a common sense approach to resolving problems that allows the client to get on with their life.
If Court proceedings are required Stephen has 20 years experience successfully appearing for clients in the Family and High Courts, as well as the Court of Appeal. Court work not requiring Stephen’s level of expertise will be handled by Raukawa Simon.
Parenting and Contact (Custody and Access)
Our work in this area of specialization covers the full range of disputes experienced by people trying to resolve issues of child care and access following separation.
We can also promptly attend to applications for protection and occupation orders under the Domestic Violence Act 1999.
Our lawyers are trained to listen and be empathetic while providing practical, solution focused advice.
If required, we have the expertise to assist in all levels of litigation before the Family Court and on appeal to the High Court and Court of Appeal.
